I have an earnest love for this work and being able to connect with people in a meaningful way, to guide and inspire, and to support the growth and evolution of my clients.

Raised the youngest of six kids, I learned both collaboration and independence at a young age and have often been inspired by curiosity and adventure. In my twenties, I played music in bands, traveled internationally and am grateful for how those explorations expanded my mind and heart.

I earned a BA from Evergreen State College and worked as a professional artist for over a decade. My work explored themes of humanity, intimacy and honesty and was exhibited nationally and internationally. In 2005, a friend and I opened a music and art space/bar called Valentines in Portland, Oregon. The collective contribution of many amazing people made it a community gem, but after 8 years of ownership I felt trapped and knew I was in the wrong place, doing the wrong work. It wasn’t easy but it was so worth it to make these changes - I sold my business, our house and my family and I moved to Ventura, California. Now, I feel at home in the work I’m doing and where I am. I’m a mother of two, surfing whenever I can and happily partnered for over 10 years.

My path to coaching was born from an art project I did in 2007 about personal transparency. I hooked myself up to a polygraph (lie detector) machine and allowed the public to ask me anything they wished. I learned a lot about myself and other people but what fascinated me most was what happened when you put people together in a safe and honest space and ask meaningful questions. It was a profound experience that inspired me to study coaching. To visit my art website click here.

In 2014, I completed a challenging and transformative coach training program at the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA. The intensive learning experience was invaluable and soon after, I started my own practice. I’m continually inspired by my clients and am proud of what we do together. This developmental work is particularly vital right now for ourselves and for society and I feel good about contributing in a positive way, please join me!
